Returns
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as fish, coral, foods, etc. cannot be returned.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, Sale items may be refunded at our discretion and would only be refunded for the sale price. Proof of purchase and sale price would be required.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Some items will need to be replaced via their manufacturer directly. be sure to register your purchases with the manufacturer. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email and we will guide you on how to proceed.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and inspected a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We do not ship livestock
Livestock Ordering Policy
- By making a purchase from our website you are agreeing that you have read and agree to these policies.
- All sales or livestock, invertebrates and hardware are final.Once livestock orders are placed they can not be cancelled, modified or substituted.
- No guarantees on colour accuracy as they may slightly vary from WYSIWYG items due to your lighting and tank environment.
- Please only place livestock orders when your aquarium is established, mature and appropriate for the animal.
- No refund for any livestock losses that occurs during or after your acclimation process
- If a livestock item is not up to our standards we will not bring it in and a refund will be issued for that item.
- For exceptions or emergencies please call the store as it takes 1-2 business days to respond to emails.
Local Pickup
- Please contact us or wait to be contacted before coming to pick up your order.
- Orders can be picked up at any time during normal store hours
- The less time your livestock spends in bags the better. We prefer to pack as close to pick up time as possible
